"They're such beautiful shirts," she sobbed, her voice muffled in the thick folds. "It makes me sad because I've never seen such—such beautiful shirts before." -Daisy Buchanan

About Sistasoccer, inc.

SistaSoccer, Inc. is in its second year of operations.  Its charity focuses on recycling shirts, shorts, socks, cleats, balls, and more to redistribute to underprivileged children around the world.  Within their first year they were able to reach over 1,000 children providing recycled balls, cleats, jersey kits, and more to different areas of the United States and around the world!  The charity originated in Honolulu, Hawaii and just completed their first full-year program with 12 month-to-month sessions of training and mentoring the youth of Oahu.  100% of the children involved felt as if their confidence and relationships grew by their participation in SistaSoccer.  Other programs of the states include: Hartford, CT. Trenton NJ. Ft. Lauderdale FL. Baltimore MD. and Brooklyn NY.

The charities very first program began internationally in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.  Within one year the organization completed three trips to the Ban Wantakian School where they train soccer, teach English, and mentor the youth.  Within this program, SS has partnered with Hawai'i Pacific University to send fifteen college students and a professor to volunteer at Ban Wantakian.

Other International programs include six schools within the Amazon Jungle of Ecuador providing gear to hundreds of children, many of whom have never worn a pair of cleats.  This August SS has partnered with nonprofit organization Seeds of Africa to join forces to sponsor jersey kits, cleats, balls, and more to a school in Ethiopia.

SistaSoccer, Inc. was started in Hawai'i by CEO Colleen Williams as her graduate program thesis, however after completion of its first program to Kanchanaburi, Thailand and seeing the impact it had on the children, the fire had been ignited to continue the charity into a career.  SistaSoccer, Inc. is dedicated to longtime childhood coach of the girls that began it all, Eddie Leigh, whom recently passed on due to ASL.  Many of his players, that considered him their second father help volunteer with different programs around the world.
